Q: Is this product really reusable?

Yes! Our menstrual pads are designed to be used for many years.

Q: How do I know when to change them?

A: Change the pads before moisture gets to the stitch line along the outer edge.

Q: What are the pads made from?

A: The top layer is 100% flannel. Next layer is a super absorbent layer, infused with silver to decrease bacteria growth and odor. Next is a food-grade waterproof barrier. The bottom layer is 100% cotton.

Q: How do I clean the pads?

A: Put them in the washing machine and dryer, on low to medium/regular heat. To prevent staining, you can rinse in cold water before washing. Do not use bleach as this can break down fabric faster. Do not use fabric softener as this can make the fabric fluid repellent.

Q: Will the silver wash away after washing?

A: No. The silver will last the life of the pad.

Q: Do they work well for urine leakage?

A: Yes, for light to moderate urine leakage, depending on the size of the pad. They are not intended for heavy leakage/wetting.
